I tried a few different things with my pictures this post. It seems like it is all the rage to have crooked pictures, some vignetting and overly saturated pictures. This last week I made a weird light box for my flash (picture #6), it was something that I saw on flicker. The first and third pictures were taken with the flash box which seemed to give really nice lighting. It consisted of tin foil inside and a slot cut out and covered with tissue paper. Not real high tech, but the results were nice. The catch light looks very good as shown in the first picture. Fortunately for the girls, I made this contraption after they went to bed; Angela didn't want to be my model so the girls got to stay up late. The second and last picture were taken today when the girls were being fairy princesses. All that I have to say is that my girls are all girl. Angela ran another 5K today with her friend Melissa. It's like a disease or an addiction, well I guess it could be worse - she could like crack...Anyways she finished in 34 and half minutes, a personal best. She was pretty stoked because she ran the whole way. Picture 4 and 5 are from the race today. ~Erik

Very talented!
The pictures look great! I am still thinking about what camera to get. Did you get my email I sent and see the boy's new pictures I had taken?? That girl had a few crooked ones too. I'm sure if I am very fond of them?? Oh well, it's in style... right. And way to go Angela! Geez, I am sure I could not run even half a mile. I have often thought that I would like to have that self discipline to be able to run races and such, but I don't have it yet! Way to go!
Erik! And Angela! ;) I found your blog through the Dorman blog. Great blog!! Your pictures are stunning!! We don't really have a blog yet; maybe someday. :) Great to "see" your beautiful family.

I love the pics you take Eric, they are pretty amazing...you've quite the talent there. And Angela...I had no idea you were hooked on running...good for you!! Maybe someday I'll run one of those with you. Glad to see you all are having a good summer!
Eric - your photos are always awesome (it's always a nice break in my day when I get a chance to look at your blog and see what is going on outside of work!), but the image of your daughter with the purple flower in her hair is one of your best. The sparkle in her eyes and the saturated color of the shot are super. It helps that you always have a family of adorable models to chose from!
