Tagged...

So, we were tagged, I guess by Alisha, so we had to do some serious thinking about what makes us quirky.

The rules:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
Erik and I decided to divide it up, so we'll each post three. Here's mine (Angela's):
1. I have peace sign toes. My short stubby toes are almost webbed together and thus make a peace sign. Owen, unfortunately, inherited the same toes on just one foot. His other foot has normal toes. (See the picture of both of our ugly feet.)

2. I am an obsessive berry picker, which I just discovered in the last year or two. There are so many types of berries out in the wild here and I can't get enough of them. If I see a patch, I cannot just walk by, I have to pick them. I have learned this summer that some berries are better than others, so next year I can fine tune my berry picking to get only the best.

3. I am crazy about doing things in a particular way. I have an order and a system for just about everything I do. For example, the clothes in my closet are color coordinated. I have to fold laundry the same way each week with everyone's piles in the same places or I can't function. The dishwasher has to be loaded a certain way for maximum efficiency. This drives Erik crazy! The sad part is that it's not just a few things in life; this is how I do everything. If my schedule or my system is changed in any way, I flip out.
All right, Erik's turn...
4. Hypochondriac...I have had almost every deadly disease at least once. If the disease is very rare and deadly I am guaranteed to get it multiple times. I have had the following; Ebola, Avian Flu, Cancer, Meningitis, Hernia's, Blood Clots, I even caught an STD from a toilet seat....I know that they are all figments of my imagination but I just can't help the craziness sometimes. The only thing that keeps me sane is statistics. I figure that the probability of me actually contracting one of these diseases is fairly low so I can generally talk myself back into health.
5. I love Walmart, it is capitalism at its best. I will probably get some crusty comments on the last statement but that's how I feel. I just got a new pair of shoes from Wallyworld for the low low price of $9.85. Velcro...Black and Fast, that's right, real fast. I was 8 years old when I owned my last pair of Velcro shoes. Also it has been quite a while since shoes have made me feel like I could run faster. New fast shoes, great price... Lovin' it.

6. I hate community events, which is unfortunate because Angela loves them. It may be due to the fact that in Alaska there is quite a bit of white trash and my fear of picking up diseases (Refer to above #4). Also I don't enjoy being crammed into crowds because of personal space issues.

The following have been tagged....Miles and Becky, Tessa, Amy and Jerry, Reed and Annie, Owen and Camille, and Sadie. Good luck!

Hey Eric,

I found something else for you to be afraid of. Klinefelter's syndrome. I think you just might have this one buddy. Sorry.
