On our way to Anchorage we stopped at Tern Lake to try to get some pictures of the swans. There is this really cool turn off lunch area that I hadn't ever been to. There is a map of it
here. It was neat because there was some salmon still in the lake. The kids ran around and we saw a ferret or martin which is shown a couple pictures below. If anyone knows what this is, let me know. There was a cool bridge that had just been build/remodeled that the kids modeled on. It was a great place to stop and take a break on the way to Anchor Town. ~Erik

That thing looks like Rikki Tikki Tavi. It's definately a mongoose. :)
