Tern Lake

On our way to Anchorage we stopped at Tern Lake to try to get some pictures of the swans. There is this really cool turn off lunch area that I hadn't ever been to. There is a map of it here. It was neat because there was some salmon still in the lake. The kids ran around and we saw a ferret or martin which is shown a couple pictures below. If anyone knows what this is, let me know. There was a cool bridge that had just been build/remodeled that the kids modeled on. It was a great place to stop and take a break on the way to Anchor Town. ~Erik

That thing looks like Rikki Tikki Tavi. It's definately a mongoose. :)
