Owen's self portrait...

Owen wanted to do a self portrait but didn't want the same old My Space shots. He was thinking about a black background while he was flying through the air. Great concept but hard execution. He set up 2 bare flashes camera left and right and asked me to throw him in the air. You can see the remote trigger in his hand in the first shot. He had the camera set to remote trigger with 2 second delay. He triggered the camera and told me to throw him in the air. He kept telling me my timing was off and we were just getting legs or the top of his head in the shots. My complaint was that my arms were getting tired of throwing him. He told me to suck it up and keep at it until we got it right. If I were to give him any advice it would be to try and get the focus a bit better. He made me throw his sister in the air also. It is hard to contain someone that has a vision. ~Erik

Erik, Jenny and I both think you're full of crap and that Owen wouldn't come up with something like that. What kind of 2 year old says he wants a black background and gets mad at his dad for having bad timing??? I'm gonna have to call BS on this one.
