Here are a couple shots of the Cathedral in downtown Campeche. It is really quite close to the water and few years back they had problems with pirates. Around town there are forts that were build to fight off the pirates, complete with cannons and everything. While visiting the Cathedral we saw a bell from one of the bell towers that took a cannon ball during one of the fights with the pirates. Pretty sweet... The first picture is at night ~2:00 am after Keith and Jennifer were married by a government official. Tomorrow I will post about the first wedding. ~Erik
