Happy 4th of July! We've spent the weekend in a small town called Seldovia. In fact, we are on the boat in the harbor posting this on the blog. We had a fun time. Owen didn't want to sleep the first night (we'll see how tonight goes), but other than that, we've had a blast. Kaitlyn and I ran a 5k this morning, the second of her young career. I say ran, but it was more like sprint and then walk and sprint and walk some more. She finished in 50 minutes! They had a small parade and games and a pancake breakfast at the firehouse. Erik's parents and Matt and Missy came out too and helped us out a ton with the kids. We have just had a nice weekend away from everything and hanging out with the family. We hope everyone else had a great weekend too.
