Iditarod

We went up to Anchorage this last weekend and it happened to be the start of the Iditarod. For those who may not know, the Iditarod is a dogsled race through Alaska, from Anchorage to Nome, and it lasts for days. I hadn't ever seen the race, so we decided to brave the crowds with the kids. We were right at the ceremonial starting place, so we got to see the teams go out one at a time waving to the crowd. The kids thought it was fun for about 10 or 15 minutes and then they were finished. It was cold and they got tired of standing there. But, they did like the dogs. Thanks, Aunt Beth, for holding Olly pop and letting us stay with you. It was a fun weekend. -Angela

I had so much fun with you guys this weekend. When we finally get a bed in our spare bedroom, you'll have to come up for a sleep-over when Ian's here. He was pretty bummed to miss you all. We love you guys.
