Here's a continuation of our trip. We went to the Zoo and Balboa Park yesterday. It was a nice contrast to the craziness of Disneyland the day before (I'll talk about that in a minute). The picture above is the kids in Balboa Park eating lunch. How often do you get a backdrop like that for lunch? Below is our zoo pictures. The zoo was great! We saw polar bears doing backflips in the water and pandas running around. The kids really liked the hippo's butt, so we had to get a picture.
We took a picture of Owen next to his aviary. It was nice that they named it after him.
I only am posting a few Disney pictures. They're just the typical tourist, Disneyland pictures, but hey, we're doing the tourist thing, right? My parents were amazing to have with me. They kept me sane with the throngs of people. I can't thank them enough. The kids did great, no major tantrums or whining. We had a great day, after the 2 hours it took us to get in. That's right - 2 hours from when we pulled into Disneyland until we actually got into the park. Madness! All in all, we've had a fun couple of days. Today we're going to be a little more laid back and ride the trolley to the mall for shopping and treats.

You guys look like you're having such a fun time! I'm so jealous. When do you get back. Hopefully the weather will hold out until you get home. It's a beautiful 60 degrees here. That may not sound like much after San Diego, but we're all baking nicely.

Ok, I've been patient enough. Time for you guys to post. What am I supposed to do if I don't have your blog to read? I feel so cut off. You guys should come up sometime for a softball tournament some Saturday. I don't remember the dates, but I'll let you know. We're not very good, but the kids might like it.
