Erik turned 30 yesterday - woo hoo! We celebrated with his brothers and sisters on Sunday night at our usual Sunday family dinner. Erik isn't really too into parties, especially where he is the center of attention, so we kept his birthday low key. Owen helped decorate the lovely cake by sprinkling it to his heart's content. We had a fun time. Erik only asked for one thing for his birthday and was lucky enough to receive it - you can see it in the last picture, a "Groovy Girls" puzzle. It was what he always wanted. OK, maybe that's Kaitlyn's puzzle. He got boring stuff like dress shirts and pants and shoes. Well, I sure do love and appreciate Erik. He may be spazzy, but he is an amazing father and husband. I feel lucky to have him. Happy birthday, hot stuff. - Angela

You are sooooooo old! I can't believe how old you are! And you act like it, would you at least try and act younger?! Geez. Just let go every once in a while and act like a kid...oh wait. Never mind. Love you guys! Wish we were there.
