We put a bird feeder outside our window as shown in the picture below. It took the birds a few days to find the feeder but now they are busy. The kids love watching the birds fly around and eat. It is hard to see but there is a bird in the feeder in the shot above. Unfortunately for the birds Owen will bang on the windows and say "BIRD EAT FOOD." All caps on purpose because he usually yells it. The poor birds fly away but come back because, hey it's a free meal. Other than the yelling and banging on the window it is a good meal. ~Erik

Ahhh simple pleasures!! I would sit and watch them all day too.
DUDE!!! I freakin love Owen!!!! He has the same effect on our kitties. Chasing them and yelling, CAT, CAT, CAT and scream laughing. It kills me!
What a fun activity when winter seems to last forever. I wouldn't get anything done during the day. It would be too tempting to watch all the birds that come to visit.
