Governor Palin was kind enough to get Alaskan residents a little extra boost this year in the form of energy relief. Well my energy relief went to new lights for my camera. I have been wanting to get a setup similar to what folks are using on this website. A portable setup that I can use on the move. I plan on bringing a few speed lights to Mexico when I go down for my brother's wedding. I am still waiting on my radio poppers to trigger the speed lights. Here are a couple shots taken with the new umbrella and my current SB600. The new equipment will be much better than what I am using now.

So...you know Shayne and I, and soon to be baby, are going to have to try out those lights don't you? Actually I'm trying to find a day where Shayne's off and we can bug you to take some of us before the baby comes. I would love to help you work out the bugs with the lights! :) I'm such a good friend huh? However, bringing your gear to the hospital, I'm going to have to draw the line on. :) Yeah, Angela told me! :)
