What is this?

I am a bit confused. It is spring in Alaska and I am waiting for summer to come. While I am patiently waiting I notice something on our lawn. A yellow leaf...What, how can this be. It is the end of August, leaves do turn yellow in fall. Maybe I need to come to grips with the fact that we had spring and it has gone directly into fall. Maybe next year we will have summer. I hear in America there is summer....Maybe next year. ~Erik

You poor, poor, things. We put on our coats for the first time in 4.5months last night, we were freezing, it was 68. We've turned into sissys for sure. Good luck with your 2 weeks of fall. Winter is right around the corner.

We are waiting too. Please let us know when you find summer.

That is really, really, sad. We have had months and months of 90-100 degree weather. If only we could bottle it up and send some. I'm sick of it...

:-( I feel the exact same way!! In fact as I was driving home from church yesterday, I noticed a bunch of trees off the highway just after the KBeach light that were all VERY much turning yellow!! I'm so incredibly depressed...and YES, for those of you asking...there is a summer in Alaska...just been delayed until next year. :-(
