Hawaii

Well we made it to Hawaii. The weather has been pretty windy but much better than the -10 we left in Alaska. The kids have been having a great time playing on the beach. I’ve enjoyed reading and watching the kids play make believe because there is no TV. The yurts that we have been staying in are a bit primitive but it has added to the ambiance. I am afraid that an axe murder is going to come and kill us all in the middle of the night because the wind makes the yurt flap and cause a ruckus. Plus, Erik bought a machete to chop up coconuts and left it outside the front door. He’s been having a good time chopping the coconuts open – it makes him feel like a man! We’ll get some pictures later of the yurt we are staying in so you can see.
